A NUMBER OF ACTIVITIES TO BE HELD IN OBSERVANCE OF WORLD SOCIAL WORK DAY IN GRENADA THIS YEAR

Social workers in Grenada and the rest of the world are gearing up for the observance of “World Social Work Day “which takes place next week Tuesday, 19th March, 2024.

According to the International Federation of Social Workers it’s the key day in the year when social workers worldwide stand together to advance their common message globally.

Here at home, activities kicked off last Sunday with a church service.

The global observance of the “Social Work Day”, Courtney says, surrounds the need for social workers to find innovative community-led approaches in their operations.
