The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) has confirmed the occurrence of a police involved shooting incident during the early hours of Wednesday morning, at Beaulieu, St. George.
According to a release from the RGPF one man was injured.
The release says officers were in the process of apprehending the individual, who was wanted for questioning in connection with the offence of Robbery with Violence, resulting in him receiving a gunshot wound to his hip.
He was immediately transported to the General Hospital where he is currently warded as a patient.
