The first in a series of consultations put on by the Spicemas Corporation was held yesterday to discuss all things carnival, as it relates to subvention, registration prizes concession and carnival launch among other things.
Wee fm news spoke with the CEO of the Spicemas Corporation Kelvin Jacob who indicated to us that the first consultation yesterday was very well attended with over 30 representatives in attendance.
He indicated however they were disappointed that members of the mas’ band association were not in attendance.
With things in motion now the second consultation will be held next Tuesday.
Jacob is asking all music producers, Calypso, Soca and Groovy artistes to attend this consultation.
