We have information that a team from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) is currently here on a week-long mission, making an assessment of CDB-funded projects.
The team will also be discussing other developmental areas for collaboration on the Government’s agenda.
The members of the mission will be involved in a series of site visits as well, with the aim of improving the implementation of key CDB-funded projects within various sectors.
Among other areas, the CDB Mission will observe the Integrated Solid Waste Management Project (the Perseverance Landfill), as well as projects of the
Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF), especially as it concerns the Grenada Waste-water Treatment and Recycling Pilot Project, the Western Main Road Corridor Upgrade Project.
The CDB team will be engaged in what’s indicated as an area of focus relative to a Supervision and Handover Meeting for New Project Lead, surrounding
Climate Smart Agriculture and Rural Enterprise Programme (SAEP).
