“Mental health is a universal human right” is the theme that guides the observance of World Mental Health Day today.
Grenada joined in on the observance with a local theme “Be Kind”.
Minister of State with responsibility for Social Development and Gender Affairs, Senator Gloria Thomas, emphasizes in her World Mental Health Day message the importance of acknowledging the challenges and pressures faced by some citizens.
Senator Thomas emphasized the increasing prevalence of mental health issues, particularly depression and anxiety, and urged those grappling with emotional and psychological challenges to seek the necessary support and assistance.
